About Us

Where it all started

Floof began a mission to improve the life of dogs. Our founder, Kapil Patwardhan started Floof in 2018 to contribute towards the welfare of street animals in Pune.

Since then, Floof has helped find homes for over 1000 pups and kittens. This has only been possible with the help of hundreds of volunteers, well-wishers and a strong online community.

Where We Are Now

Over the past three years we have spent thousands of hours with families and their dogs, helping them understand their dog better.

Kapil is a certified Family Dog Mediator awarded by Family Dog Mediation for completing the L.E.G.S.® Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation® Professional Course.

He is also pursuing advanced dog behaviour courses from Nordic Dog Training School in Norway.
